Academics Overview

Clarkdale High School works to educate a diverse student body. To better serve each academic group, CHS offers a variety of diploma options to serve the needs of each individual student.

The Clarkdale High School Program of Study is designed to provide all students with a wide variety of challenging courses in all curricular areas.  Schools must prepare students to succeed in the global economy of the 21st century.  Students must acquire academic knowledge, technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork techniques.  The Program of Study provides the opportunity for students to prepare for post-secondary education or to apply their skills in the workplace.  Students select among course appropriate for their career plans.  Career guidance and counseling is provided to all students to assist them in selecting courses that will prepare them for future career options.
